A distinguished hybrid summer leadership experience for NJ high school students. Participants drive real change in mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, autism advocacy, and public speaking. Earn community service hours, strengthen your college application, and present initiatives to a live audience at the Recognition & Awards Ceremony.
Open to Grades 3–12, two tracks: Innovation & AI. Compete solo or as a team. Projects are judged on scientific merit, originality, communication, real-world impact, and responsible development. Top finishers earn scholarships and Newton Honors Society invitations.
A structured advocacy forum bringing together mental health professionals, community organizers, youth advocates, and families for focused panel discussions and actionable pathways toward community-level mental wellness. Attendees left equipped with practical tools for change.

Full Competition DetailsUnited For Impact launched the very first Youth Mental Wellness Ambassador Program — establishing the foundation for what has become one of UFI's most impactful recurring programs. The inaugural cohort engaged in mental health awareness campaigns, built advocacy skills, and established the community-service framework that shapes every cohort that follows.
UFI's signature Symposium & Gala brought together legislators, mental health professionals, community leaders, educators, advocates, and sponsors. The Symposium featured expert panels on community-level mental wellness; the Gala honored outstanding volunteers, celebrated community champions, and welcomed new strategic partners into the UFI family.
